3D Visualisation Studio
FROM CONCEPT TO COMPLETION
Specialists in immersive interactive 360-degree virtual tours and 3D modelling, our studio offers a broad range of services.

We are a boutique studio based in North Coburg specialising in virtual tours for a range of markets. We offer stunning high dynamic range photography and use professional editing methods to ensure your artwork, products, house or venue looks it's best. We have studio lighting, backdrops and know how to prepare images for Ebay, Amazon and more. Photography services offered include regular stills (Sony A7Rii), aerial stills, aerial 360 (DJI Mavic Pro) and 360 degree ground stills using a Ricoh Theta Z1.
We also create custom-built 3D models, used for shop drawings, documentation packs (plans and elevations) as well as renders, animations and virtual tours. Incorporating custom fixtures, textures, signage and branding is all in a day's work.

We are able to respond promptly and with fairly priced services. With 25 years of experience in design, photography, signage, site surveys, retail fit-outs and events we offer a wide range of expertise to suit your needs.
Virtual Tours
A series of high quality 360 degree photos are brought together to build a "virtual tour" which can be published to Google Street View. Professional and Premium packages offer interaction including floorplans and social media buttons. Click here to see more!
3D Modelling
With an accurate 3d model of your project your decisions can be better informed, faster, and more confident. Changes made during the design phase avoid incurring expensive rework and timing delays onsite post build.
Documentation
Used for installation instructions, tendering, shop drawings, planning & building permit applications - good clear documentation reduces application timelines, production errors and installation errors saving your time, money and reputation.
ABOUT
With more than 350 projects and 25+ years industry experience, Goding Projects is here to help you plan, specify, visualise and document your projects. We offer a wide range of services that will help you reduce the risk of not delivering on time, quality or cost. Accurate 3D models will ensure your objects fit and are positioned within the planned space, and look and feel the way you want them. Clear documentation (plans, elevations) will enable you to communicate clearly and concisely with contractors, other consultants and project stakeholders to ensure your designs are collaborative and have the right level of input and review. Installations on site will be streamlined because of good clear documentation. VR Tours can be provided to help plan or document your project in full, high resolution colour using either 3D modelling or 360 degree photography methods.

VIRTUAL TOURS
Virtual Tours are a great way to promote your business. They give prospective customers a window into your space and allow them a better understanding of what you offer and how it feels. This can improve the first impression because people have a better idea of what to expect.

For retail applications, customers understand your range of products. For gyms, customers understand the size and equipment on offer. For function venues, customers get a great understanding of the way their event could look in your venue without having to actually visit in person. The more informed a customer is the less likely they are to be disappointed when they arrive.

For Builders, Architects and other consultants having a clear picture of each stage of the job's progress is an invaluable tool.
Check out this 5 stage residential example for architect Green Sheep Collective)

For Hotels, Air BnB rentals customers better understand the space and it's surrounding areas. Aerial 360 shots can be incorporated to give great perspective on the position of the venue to it's environment.

All images are typically supplied to the customer so they can be uploaded directly to your Google "My Business" account as well as Google Street View (my contributions so far have exceeded 100,000 views). Get more customers through the door with stunning images of your business on Google Maps. Work with a Street View professional to create your own immersive virtual tour

The Climbing Anchors Fitzroy store premium virtual tour was shot on the Ricoh Theta Z1 360 camera (14 shots) with 43 "popup" product close ups using a Sony A7III full frame mirrorless camera shot in HDR mode). Using the Ricoh DFE plugin and professional HDR mode this combines 9 "raw" images to create a high dynamic range (HDR) image. This means that the light and dark areas look better. Professional ending methods are used to get the image looking as good as possible. Web links to their online store allow visitors to find out more about the products and purchase via the Climbing Anchors website. All images are available on Google Street View.

Here is some feedback from the Climbing Anchors team:

"Josef Goding is a top-tier professional that has seemingly unlimited knowledge on all things physical and digital marketing. We first hired him to help us when we moved our shop into a larger location. He consulted us on how to get our store sign made and installed. He personally advised and helped us to install our new window stickers which came out perfectly. Shortly after, we asked him to come back and take professional photos of our entrance and interior of the shop. He came in early before we opened and took a mix of 3D photos and high quality professional shots of the store and some products which he then stitched together to make into a virtual tour for our google business. Every interaction and experience with Josef has been pleasant and informative. We highly recommend him to any business who is looking for a designer, photographer, or visual consultant."

This example starts with an aerial 360-degree image to give great context of the site location (pan up to see the Melbourne Skyline from Carlton - looks pretty cool right!) Google Map links help you to get there nice and quick when viewed from your phone. Social media buttons link to reviews and other information. A navigation menu (top right) allows for easy access to all positions in this tour. An interactive map button helps you understand where you are and which way you're facing.

3D Modelling
3D Models provide a fast, accurate way to consider the best arrangement of architecture, fixtures and a range of other elements.
This results in a better understanding of the space before it is built or set up to streamline the arrangement of elements and overall aesthetic. This can save you time and money before any of your team arrive on site!

I offer shop drawings for a range of fabrication methods.

DOCUMENTATION
The creation of plans and elevations with supporting photography views clearly illustrate the size, shape and feel of any space fixture or product.

As shown in this Steel Window shop drawing example, a serious amount of detail can be added to ensure clear communication with all stakeholders, and reduce risk of fabrication & installation errors through proper planning.

Training - SketchUp
I also offer 1 on 1 training, as well as collaborative assistance if you are already a SketchUp user and just need a little help to get on top of your workload - I can help make updates to your model, create plans, elevations and detailed specification, finish and other documentation from your models. I have collaborated successfully with many other design studios who are already power SketchUp users but just have a tight deadline and not enough time to get it done internally. I can help if this sounds like you!

If you can provide scaled plans and photos I can create a 3D Model of your space, if not I can survey the site (take measurements and photos) and then create the model, and if needed documentation (plans/elevations) for you.

I am familiar with being on building sites under construction and hold a white card as well as working at heights, and EWP tickets (Scissor lift and knuckle boom up to 12m).

Advanced options for 3D Modelling include "Layout" Documentation PDF packs (see section above with examples) a BOQ (Bill of Quantity) which is great for large spaces where multiple stock or other purchased items are required. Price, size and various other attributes can be included to streamline the procurement process and reduce risk.

"Render" views can be prepared to show photo-realistic lighting, and textures - which can also be done in a 360 view and turned into a virtual tour like this one https://mss2020promo.netlify.app/ (or see the Circus Nexus example below, presented as an IFrame)

"Walkthrough" animations can also be prepared which are a great way to get a feel for the space.
Photography
With a passion for a wide range of photography including Fine Art, Product, Rock Climbing, nature panoramas, retail and architecture as well as 360 virtual tour photography I'm sure you'll be satisfied with the results when you hire me for your job. Here are a few examples of some of my favourite jobs, places and people.
